Guys,
For me the up jockey with the ebst prospects of becoming a star is Robert Winston – well it was this thought until he had the horrible fall at hamilton.
He has since been banned for a year and responded by riding winners this year.
But what has happened to him now? where is he? not many entries?
what are peoples thoughts on this jockey…..
Also – what has happened to tony culhane?
Tony Culhane is currently serving a twelve month ban for corruption related offences. He was found guilty of aiding and abetting a breach of the rules and for misleading investigators, but not of passing information for reward.
After being forced to sit it out for 12 months, I understand that the thinking behind the Robert Winston tactic of riding on northern courses is an attempt to step into the so-called “Cock of North” freelance ridings boots of the recently retired Kevin Darley. Early days yet, some way still to go and a few more bridges to mend but appears to be making a fair fist of it at present.
Just keep your fingers crossed Mr Winston that nothing else crawls out of the woodwork to bite you.
