Really think Sounds Russian could go very close here, and his current 5’s would really appeal in the day.

The one I’m itching to back though is last years winner Wakool. He’s certainly been poor this year, but that 33’s is gnawing away at me. Unfortunately holds an entry in The Pertemps Qualifier as well, and holding off for now, as that looks a pretty feasible option.

I’ll bet the pair of these if they trap, and providing they’re both backable prices

    Sounds Russian
    Wakool 22’s

Can get 28’s Wakool just now, but not topping up on the 22’s. Didn’t bet Sounds Russian in the end

All over Sounds Russian for this. Last seen running a big race in the Gold Cup, which I doubt any of the others could do. Appreciate this is a different test altogether, but he’s got plenty of class and should be able to take this in.

Red Risk should relish this conditions. Just behind Botox Has at Wetherby, but a bet bitter in the weights now. The Long Walk at Ascot on good ground was nog his thing, but this should suit.

    Red Risk 4/1

Probably going to regret doing Botox Has seeing as he has already done his one win a season but this looks significantly easier that his previous races.

I’ll join DBR on Red Risk for the reasons he states.

Martha Brae is interesting at 25s EW, but I’ll go with the other 25/1 shot – Wakool.
Hope to see Sounds Russian run a good race

5/2 was theft , Hughes gave Sounds Russian a very kind run , wonder if they’ll miss Cheltenham and go to Aintree
