“Thank you for reaching out and speaking truth to power at this point.”
I swear I never felt the need to bastardise the English language my parents’ generation used the way these pretentious tools nowadays do.
“Pretenglish” – the horrendous new language.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"July 28, 2023 at 05:29 #1656842“Has Chezza achieved the seemingly impossible and found a subject we unanimously agree on?”
Do you think we could circle back and drill down on this later Richard88, it’s an interesting point you make?
Ciao.
July 28, 2023 at 19:29 #1656881Griff gets it. We should definitely touch base and compare notes. I don’t see anyone pushing back on this in the short to medium term.

So, I’m super excited for this. I can’t even.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"July 31, 2023 at 22:20 #1657445Another phrase that incites me to violence is ‘like no other’ – do people nowadays not understand big words like ‘unique’ ?
July 31, 2023 at 22:48 #1657453I have a thing about use of the word unique.
“That’s fairly unique,” “that’s quite unique,” “that’s almost unique.”
The word “unique” is an absolute – there are no degrees of uniqueness, something is either unique or it is not.
Must get back to bidding on this Uzi!

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"July 31, 2023 at 22:51 #1657455I agree 110%
The more I know the less I understand.
August 1, 2023 at 00:54 #1657478Nicely put Refuse To Bend!
I agree 107.34% that misuse of percentages also needs to be on this list
August 1, 2023 at 01:38 #1657480This one is specific to racing, but I find reference to the wealthy, rather mature businessmen who oversee Coolmore as “The Lads” quite irritating.
I’m probably being unfair as using a collective term makes sense, and they are of course entitled to call themselves whatever they wish. But it grates with me nevertheless.

Very true, Ian.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"August 2, 2023 at 17:20 #1657950It’s getting so common now that people start a sentance with So, and then
continue when the “so” has no relevance to the sentance.August 2, 2023 at 17:46 #1657952Even worse, BigG, is when people answer a question with “So…”
Gets right on my tits.
August 2, 2023 at 17:58 #1657955Basically……….
The more I know the less I understand.
August 2, 2023 at 22:20 #1658007When was the last time anyone gave an ‘opinion’ on anything? You now have to tell us what your ‘take’ is.
