I backed Reaping the Reward earlier; such a frustrating 2nd. When I opened my betting account I tended to stick with favourites but I’m now trying to be a bit more adventurous. Trouble is there’s so little value these days; the big priced winners seem to be a thing of the past. But they’re still out there….

I’ve been having too many ew bets in 7 runner races. They seem to have bigger fields in Ireland. I’m now getting too many trainers and jockeys that I have to follow all the time but, thankfully one of them is Sheena West at Plumpton. And I decided that if Bob Ford couldn’t win at Ffos Llas he wouldn’t win anywhere. However, I have so many stupid bets that my £10 account still only has £8.50 in it
