Ran Havlin and the Sun

Sometimes get the Sun on a Saturday as it’s got decent racing pages and the excellent Jack Keene but noticed that they have a big negative around Rab Havlin. Not for the first time but today on his ride on Gavriel it says “stacks of potential but Rab is a big negative”. Don’t see this type of comment for any other Jockey, does anyone know if he’s upset them somehow?

I bought the Sun for years up to around COVID time and never noticed this before with any other jockey. It may have said something like eye-catching jockey booking if one of the top riders was on board but never went the negative way.

Looked at the horse’s form and Havlin has been on board every time winning twice.

The Sun? They probably misread “Rab” for “Arab”.

Never picked up on his ability either way. Must be a decent chap if this foul rag is against him though.
