Whilst the juvenile fillies may have looked a substandard bunch earlier in the season, 3 or 4 are looking smart and I was very taken with this one at Lingfield this afternoon. Routing her field in a time that compares very well with the 82 rated handicapper Grand Show. Would be surprised if she isn’t up to making an impact in pattern races next year.

Anyone clockers come up with a figure for it yet?

40/1 for the Guineas if you like that kind of action…..

That looks big when you look at some of the names in the betting that are shorter. I’ve had a dabble. Thanks Rory.

Apparently put up by some tipping organisation and now generally a 12/1 shot.

Can it beat Finsceal Beo and Sander Camillo?

Managed to miss the race, but time analysis suggests:

    GOING 73 (standard to fast)

    Hephaestus 64 (5 slow) 105.60% fin speed (last 2f)
Rainbow Promises 90 (equal) 105.65%
Dab Hand 42 (15 slow) 104.87
Molem 69 (equal) 103.09
Descartes 91 (equal) 104.69
Grand Show 78 (2 slow) 102.63
Keyaki 70 (1 slow) 101.97

(same level of ratings as BHB)

I’d imagine that Rainbow Promises could easily have recorded a time in the mid-90s off a stronger pace.

Still seems like a lot of fuss for a winner of a maiden though…
