Well, ain’t Angus Loughran the luck chap! No-one has touched him. I have to say that commentating must be one of the hardest jobs in racing after the slating some of the commentators get so I apologise in advance commentators. We love you really :biggrin:.

I did struggle in voting for someone here but sorry Big Mac…it had to be you. I like Tommo. I actually thought he was the most genuine presenter out of the lot and the most liked…until I read this thread! But I stand by you Tommo. I like the BBC team – I think Claire Balding is genuine, I also think Willie Carson is funny and I don’t mind Pitman and Scu tooooo much although one of them probably would have got my vote if it wasn’t Big Mac. My problems with those two have already been raised on this thread. I also have no problem with Graham Goode, Walter Swinburn or Lesley Graham. There, the truth is out!

I’ve met Tommo several times – he comes and does shop openings for us. For all the bumbling and cheesiness he’s actually an OK bloke. He is great with the customers (even though a few of them don’t think much of him before they meet him.) He will always find someone who knows someone he knows, talk to everyone, etc. Not that that makes an excellent presenter but he is very personable and I like that in him. If I see him at the races he always nods and says hello – I don’k know if he recognises me, he seems to do this to everyone! He’s not that bad!

I feel really bad for saying this but I find Tanya Stephenson totally devoid of character and I cringe when she talks to camera because she always seems soooo nervous. I thought well give her a month or two but shes still the same incredibly nervous person she was 2 month ago. Not funny, not witty, never gives a valid point in race analysis and only seems to be on the programme because she can use the computer! At least shes quite pretty! :biggrin:

well re Thommos tipping…….officially the worst rated tipster from all those monitored by RID……..to £100 level stakes in 2001……loss of £27000 !!!!

to keep advertising like he does is a disgrace and is clearly ripping people off !!

Jimmy Lindley is just tedious on the BBC – Francome and McGrath are the best on Channel 4.

Why isn’t Luke Harvey on the Racing Channel in the list?? He is as irritating as hell!
