I see it coming now, maybe min wont make it for either??, yorkhill shifting is becoming more likely now, still if faugheen makes it i cant see him going CH…. didnt picture the scenario of neither AP or faugheen not making it, piss poor race (quality wise) without them, everyone else including yorkhill are miles behind his abillity (in my small opinion)
January 30, 2017 at 19:12 #1284840Altior 1st
Min 2ndStraight forecast of the festival IMO.

Min 2ndStraight forecast of the festival IMO.
Your probably right. My pocket needs Min to win (8/1 antipost).

Min 2ndStraight forecast of the festival IMO.
Just see this forecast at 6/1 on skybet
February 1, 2017 at 03:03 #1285103I think something funny might be happening with Mullins’ horses. With Yorkhill strong for the Champion Hurdle at 2-3am and Min weak for the Arkle the other day, I’m just wondering if there’s going to be a huge switcharound. I want to try and take advantage of such a situation. I just wonder if they’re not happy about taking on Altior with a sub-standard prep and want to shuffle the pack.

£5 Identity Thief, unmatchedI cannot possibly let Identity Thief go unbacked at these ridiculous odds, based 100% on the fact that over hurdles he’s rated just 1lb inferior to 4/5 Altior. Good hurdling ratings + Arkle success have a strong correlation. I do not think he’s good enough to beat Altior, nor am I at all convinced that IT likes Cheltenham, but his current price is NONSENSE. He’s going to run in a couple of weeks most probably + likely win, at which point he’ll be 10/1 at most – less if Min goes to the JLT. Or if Altior goes for the Champion Chase.
If you’re backing Some Plan at 25/1, go and see your local GP immediately.
February 4, 2017 at 13:42 #1285730For selfish reasons I’d like Top Notch to just fail over the longer trip today and go for the Arkle instead.Whatever he does,he’s a proper little Chaser who will make his prescence felt at Cheltenham in either the 2m or 21/2m Nov chase.
February 4, 2017 at 14:33 #1285742Well that was a very nice performance from him, you could call him the winner miles out. JLT? Hendo just said as much.
February 4, 2017 at 14:52 #1285746Top Notch? TAPK has finally lost the plot! Its been a long time coming lol
He is Top Notch…Just like I said ‘Sprinter’
February 4, 2017 at 15:13 #1285750If I was Simon Munir and hendo said to me Altior is a monster which he is then what owner wouldn’t go for the JLT instead of fighting for 2nd place in the Arkle.
I don’t think there was ever a chance he’s going Arkle unless Altior didn’t runFebruary 5, 2017 at 13:10 #1285916Extremely excited to see ALTIOR running Saturday against Fox Norton. Although I have sympathy for FN because he going to be made look very ordinary.

Fox Nortons no mug. Altior will need to run to a mark of poss 170 if you think he’s gonna smash him up
February 5, 2017 at 13:29 #1285919You mean you didn’t take my advice and back Top Notch @ 16/1 to win any race, Gord?

Hes decent TAPK, but if he shows up here alongside Altior and Min hes playing for 3rd at best.
February 6, 2017 at 15:37 #1286136Min out of festival!!!
February 6, 2017 at 15:49 #1286138Devastated that Min is out. Was really looking forward to the re-match

Good work. Very satisfying when that kind of thinking pays off
