    Any you guys who go racing know if John Smurthwaite from Malton still works on the rails?. He hit the 40 year service mark with Hills a few years back and I was wondering if he has retired or still going

    If memory serves he retired from the coalface a year or so ago

    Hills other rails man from your day, Mike Burton, now shouts the odds for Blue Square who bought Heathorn’s prominent pitches a while back
