I am thinking of joining the Racegoers Club, they say that membership gives you 1 voucher book for discounts to over 95% of British racedays.

Does anybody know what the standard discount is?

There are about 50 free days a year as well as the discounts.
It’s excellent value and has been going for 50+ years.
There is a good 10 to follow competition too.

I was a member for many years. Definitely good value if you’re a regular racegoer. I wasn’t really so not financially worthwhile but they had plenty of other incentives like trips to stables & studs too.

Excellent institution. Admittedly a lot of the savings are just the same as if you booked in advance but look out for the discounts for Royal ascot and goodwood. They are substantial

Ive also been on their Ascot jumps package day and it was superb value

And plenty of free days too

Looks as though I would have to go about 7/8 meetings I would not normally attend to get my money back.

I cannot see any reduction for Royal Ascot.

What sort of deduction are we talking about for Royal Ascot?

Last year was the first time, in 33 years, I have not attended at least 1 day. I have got fed up with the increase in prices and on occasion for a few of the last years I have bought a ticket from a toat. Which works out cheaper than even buying a ticket in advance from Ascot.
