Race Replays – help needed

Since loading Internet Explorer 7 to enable running of the new Racing Post site I can’t get Race Replays to run either on AtTheRaces or on the Racing Post site. They run on my work computer and I tried copying the IE7 settings, but I still can’t get anything to run on my home computer. The AtTheRaces page loads OK but then instead of ‘Media connecting’ ‘Buffering’ then pictures, it just shows ‘Ready’ and nothing runs.

Has anybody any clue as to how I might get over the problem?

Do you have the latest version of media player (and/or the latest updates for media player)?

I’m no expert, but may be worth checking out. I’m sure I had the same problem earlier in the year when I updated to IE7, and I think that is how I fixed it.

If the above suggestion doesn’t work, I’m sure you’ll find a similar problem with solutions on another forum e.g. go to AOL homepage – message boards(chat and community) – technical board – media problems. Alternative forum – PCONLINE or Microsofts own forums. Cheers, hope you resolve problem soon.

As PB suggested updating Windows Media Player did the trick.
