Can’t knock BIG ROCK on what he’s achieved this year. Going off at short prices in his previous 2 races has undermined the fact he’s put in 2 very respectable efforts at group 1 level. This ground is gonna be Heeeaaaavvvy and if he gets into a lovely rhythm from the front he could potentially slosh this. 6/1 please.
October 18, 2023 at 21:26 #1667111I can’t see Tahiyra running.
The more I know the less I understand.
October 19, 2023 at 09:47 #1667136Tahiyra has been declared whereas at the moment (10 mins before the closing stage) Inspiral is not and Frankie is riding Chaldean now
October 19, 2023 at 10:58 #1667144There has been talk of a change of tactics for Big Rock with him being held up this time. That could go either way – he finds a bit of improvement or he don’t like it and they wish they hadn’t.
October 19, 2023 at 12:52 #1667158Mind games Mike, they’ll go from the front.
If he gets held on to and makes no impression by Jove I will be straight on to social media to express my displeasureOctober 19, 2023 at 13:41 #1667164Tahiyra won’t run if it’s heavy imo.
Honestly, I think she might be a tad overrated anyway. Her form isn’t very strong. Inspiral and Nashwa completely destroyed Meditate and Remarquee whereas Tahiyra was all out to beat them.
October 19, 2023 at 13:58 #1667167Tahiyra completely destroyed Remarquee in the 1000 guineas
Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
October 19, 2023 at 14:06 #1667168She clearly wasn’t right in the Guineas and only ran to an RPR of 78
October 19, 2023 at 14:41 #1667169Weld has said he is bringing her over and a decision made at the last minute. I can’t see her running myself.
The more I know the less I understand.
October 21, 2023 at 11:08 #1667410What’s the crack with going? I was expecting Paddington to be odds on
Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
October 21, 2023 at 11:11 #1667411Paddington for me he is by far the best horse in the race.
The more I know the less I understand.
October 21, 2023 at 11:35 #1667416Hardly any rain fallen in the last 24hrs so not as bad as feared. Still good to soft soft in places on the jumps course so you will need horses who can handle it and stay further. Paddington ticks the boxes but we shall see. Don’t think it’s desperate enough for a bayside boy outcome.
October 21, 2023 at 11:38 #1667418Checkandchallenge e/w 50s
October 21, 2023 at 11:53 #1667427The QE2 is on the straight course. The reading this morning was 5.6 – heavy is 5.4 and soft is 6.5. So if that is accurate it will be hard work which is probably why Paddington isn’t as bombproof in the market as he may have been.
October 21, 2023 at 13:02 #1667441Checkandchallenge is a horse that I nearly bet in the week, but I held off. I think that he has a great ew chance, and I took 50-1 which I was still happy to take
October 21, 2023 at 14:52 #1667537Nashwa
