    Sadly had to be put down after being struck into at Fontwell on Sunday. The trainer has written about his loss on http://www.hjamesevans.co.uk and the video link of this lovely horse playing in his paddock is well worth a look.

    It always seems even worse when it’s a smaller stable and when the horse died through no fault of his own. Very sad for all concerned. RIP.

    Marvellous video of Prophete de Guye on the link. Makes it seem even more sad that he’s died though. Clearly some trainers are very attached to their horses and this comes through clearly on Mr Evans website. Very sad for him and his horse.
