Well done Ruby.
As I said Aidan told us, which was honest of him. Probably off his feed but placed all the same and run will have done him well.August 20, 2023 at 15:35 #1660251Thanks, Sam. Winner seems to be quite a decent one. Had the door slammed in front of him about two furlongs from the finish, still got out and won on the nod.
August 20, 2023 at 15:38 #1660253Aidan told us what? The horse just placed in the best g1 2yo race so far this season, we’ll know NTO, but i wouldnt believe he will run much better than that and he definitely needs stepped up now, you wont be seeing him at 6 again
Id say that was his running
Happy with laying the fav there but she did run better than i expected, i was hoping itd be a more comfortable watch than that with the liability,
WD winners with vandeek, hoping they keep him as a sprinter and dont step him up, hes very quick
August 20, 2023 at 15:39 #1660254Well done, ERL.
Those who did the related contingency formline double with Ballymount Boy for the Acomb will be hoping the latter is declared tomorrow!

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"August 20, 2023 at 15:43 #1660255Thanks, Ian. The outcome seems okay with the 4th placed horse having won a G3 at Ascot on KG day in quite convincing fashion.
August 20, 2023 at 15:52 #1660257Happy with that
He’d have been an unlucky loser had he not got up having not got a clear run
Has a quick ground action to my eye so the better the ground the better he will be
Though it didn’t look as soft as our going description suggests out there
August 20, 2023 at 17:15 #1660279Yesterday’s times suggested to me it was no worse than Soft and the time if this today tells me it was between Good and Good to Soft.
Ramatuelle ran a blinder, but the Richmond form looks strong to me.

Vandeek is clearly very good. He completely fluffed the start on his debut at Nottingham but still won.
I assume the Middle Park will be on the agenda.
August 20, 2023 at 17:43 #1660284For me, as you’d expect, the Group 1 Phoenix and Morny are the best 2yo races so far in terms of competitive fields and both produced speedy winners who you might fancy to stay 7f, but wouldn’t be so sure about a mile for.

Vandeek is some horse.August 20, 2023 at 20:39 #1660302River tiber lost it at the start. Had he got off to some sort of parity would have gone close. If he’s stepping up in trip hard to see where he will go unless it’s the breeders Cup. Won’t do the dewhurst. Maybe the lagadere if its decent ground.
