Kameko as big as 8/1, I am sure I read this was his new target. Price seems huge I would have him as 3/1 2nd fav.

Is he a definite intended runner?

I am already on Palace Pier but would back Kameko e/w too at this price.

Edit: Just found the trainer quote from August 7th: ”“He is due to work on Saturday and we will take it from there, but we will make a decision in the middle of next week.”

Palace Pier shorting with a few bookies to 6/4, still some 7/4 around. A Lot of Bookies removing Earthlight, Siskin and Pinatubo out of the betting.

Is Palace Pier definitely running, has there been any recent comments anywhere? I know he was targeted but was looking for some recent confirmation?

Every bookie apart from 888sport are going 6/4 and Betfair are 11/8. So if there is somebody out there who fancies Palace Pier take the 7/4 with 888sport because I am sure the price won’t be around long.

The final field of 7 runners has been declared with no change from the 5 day declaration. Frankie Dettori will still be riding Palace Pier even though the 14 day quarantine will be in place for France.

It’s interesting Gosden is still happy to send PP here regardless of the heavy going. He wouldn’t send a horse to these conditions with some sort of hope he’ll handle it and do himself justice.
Certainly an added question mark for him though.

It wasn’t heavy when he was finally declared yesterday though so he could still pull him out I guess.

If he runs then think you’re right, he must think he’ll be okay. Kingman won on soft so I’m clinging to that

Hes still in the juddmonte so that will be the fall back option if it gets too soft here

Persian King is a Kingman and has won on Heavy. Still a good opportunity for Paris Pier I think.

In the RP going tomorrow soft but Sunday heavy. Which one is correct. The weather forecast for today and tomorrow is dry with a few showers on Sunday.

Dettori is missing the entire York festival to ride palace pier here

Tells you how good they think this horse is
