I’m on Through Seven Seas at 12s. Quite sure the ‘tourists’ will almost back him into fav on the French Tote. Also interested in Free Wind at 20s and maybe Bay Bridge with the PMU.
Westover seems to be the best yardstick in the race.October 1, 2023 at 13:59 #1665162Never realised AOB has never had a 3yo winner of this, 30 odd runners and just one placed.
The more I know the less I understand.

Given the ammo he has he doesn’t have a particularly good record in the race
October 1, 2023 at 14:30 #1665178“Will they even run bay bridge?
Seeing how quick the ground is and knowing he likes cut I’d be pulling him out and saving him for ascot if he was mine”.

Went through my mind too, FF.
Jockey might be told to look after him.Value Is EverythingOctober 1, 2023 at 14:31 #1665180I cannot see beyond Ace Impact and I believe he will win.
Westover is the each way alternative. I think he will reverse the Ascot form with Hukum.

Each way
Big price at this stage unexpectedlyOctober 1, 2023 at 15:11 #1665183Get in!!
October 1, 2023 at 15:12 #1665184Classy! Different league.
WD winners
October 1, 2023 at 15:12 #1665185Great winner.
The more I know the less I understand.
October 1, 2023 at 15:13 #1665186Travelled like a dream and his turn of foot is impressive. Pure quality.
October 1, 2023 at 15:13 #1665187Only one winner turning in
Westover quickened up nicely for him
But ace impact dusted them
Typical the one year I don’t back the 3yo with the turn of foot it’s quick ground and he wins
6 seconds in a row now in the arc
October 1, 2023 at 15:13 #1665188Well done everyone on, what a good horse to win especially considering how wound up he was in the paddock.
October 1, 2023 at 15:14 #1665189Bullet turn of foot that wide out.
Wd winners.
October 1, 2023 at 15:17 #1665190Another impressive performance today and the form is bomb proof with Westover 2nd and the Japanese raider 4th.
October 1, 2023 at 15:17 #1665191Good horse to win from there although the jockey got the main job done which was to get him to settle early on – got to really feel for Westover who has again run his heart out to be placed yet again in a G1 and Onesto was a massive back to form run in 3rd.
Wonder if Aidan now regrets not leaving AR in the race now considering the fast ground conditions and Continuous finishing as close as he did in 5th.
October 1, 2023 at 15:18 #1665192Pity Equinox wasn’t there. Would Ace Impact have caught him?
