Fixtures Released Today.
My initial thoughts, tough start for Utd having to go away to Swansea, Liverpool and City and playing Chelsea at Home to.
Even tougher finish for Nowrich, Last 4 games Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and United. There my first bet of the season at 11/4 to go down.
My second bet will be the traditional waste of a tenner backing Liverpool to win the league puryaely out of loyalty.
Being realistic I think The Special One’s return may well be enough to see Chelsea crowned Champions.
I’m going for:
1. Chelsea
2. United
3. Liverpool
4. City18. Palace
19. Nowrich
20. Hull.July 2, 2013 at 20:14 #444676AnonymousInactive- Total Posts 764
Will probably bet on Chelsea (being a big fan) but their odds are pretty harsh considering how many points they finished behind United and the fact that their haven’t signed a new Center Forward or a new Center Half!
Still, they did it the last time Mourinho came to power and they can do it again, he must be licking his lips at the squad Chelsea have!
July 5, 2013 at 09:47 #444824Wenger will fancy his teams chances once again but he’s more blind then a mole with glaucoma.

October 27, 2013 at 21:27 #456423I’d be disappointed if Liverpool fail to mount a serious title challenge, let alone if the champions league anthem isn’t playing at Anfield this time next year,
have to keep Suarez
. Only seen three clubs in Europe playing better football then Liverpool; Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
Can’t see City winning the league with a defence as poor as theirs, barring Kompany some of the poorest defenders in the top six, poor overhyped goalkeeper too. Chelsea look more like champions to my eye just lack striking options (1 goal between 3 strikers), United need a miracle and then some. Tottenham have quality youth players, however they won’t win the league, Arsenal on the ball are great but off the ball pretty terrible, will make top four especially after they buy another world class player in January.
1. Chelsea
2. Arsenal
3. Liverpool
4. Manchester City
5. Tottenham
6. Manchester United/SouthamptonJanuary window could change that order.
October 28, 2013 at 11:35 #456470Liverpool will benefit so much from not being in the Europa Cup as well as being out of the Micky mouse one. When others are crying fatigue Liverpool players will be fresh as daisy’s.
Chelsea’s bench looked very strong yesterday which will keep them in good stead although I still prefer City they simple cannot afford to make errors like that in the last minute.

October 30, 2013 at 19:42 #456744Mourinho’s league home record at his two stints with Chelsea: WWWWWDWWWWWDWWWDWWWDWWDW WWDWWWDWWWDDWWWWDWWDWWWWDWWDWWDWWWWWWWWWW. Since Mourinho has never lost at Stamford Bridge, if Chelsea don’t win the league their away record will be have to be dismal.
November 3, 2013 at 00:48 #457154After that performance feels like Liverpool’s title ambitions have been dented like a mini in a head on collision with an Artic lorry, the highs and lows of a Liverpool supporter. Got our pants pulled down and raped by a quality team. Depressing to watch.
And Chelsea’s away form is beginning to look pretty dismal, very good day for Arsenal, where are you SBerry?

He’s waiting for the end of the season in hope that the again trophy less Arsenal can hang on to 4th place and so he can rush on here and call everyone mugs……..

November 9, 2013 at 23:37 #457890Another weekend, another high. A draw in tomorrow’s big game will be a bonus. Emphasises my point about having to keep Suarez, scores goals when he wants for fun. All the top teams in Europe must have him top their transfer lists, Madrid are who scares me most.
Arsenal will finish fourth the way they’re cantering along at the moment, best team since 04/05 so should easily get top four. If Arsenal play like they have been, Young’s going to have to get better at his acting and diving skills for United to win tomorrow.
November 10, 2013 at 10:58 #457908Amazing how many teams drop points after a midweek CL or EC game. It was Chelsea’s turn yesterday and once again Liverpool were fresh and ready.

November 10, 2013 at 12:25 #457921Only a 94th minute dive prevented the specials ones special home record being lost to a Chelsea legend. Feel gutted for Steve Clarke having two points snatched by a cheat.
November 10, 2013 at 12:35 #457922What made it worse was Mourinho’s reaction, how a top coach like that can speak bull reminded me of Moyes… only a few days ago.
November 10, 2013 at 16:01 #457939Both Spurs and Man City the latest to suffer after midweek European matches, shame Arsenal and United cant both lose……

November 25, 2013 at 17:31 #459784Tottenham are fully exposed at present, Dalglish spent over a hundred million and didn’t get much return and it seems AVB has spent too much time, money and effort chasing attacking players whilst forgetting you need to prevent goals being conceded as well as sticking em in the back of the net up the other side.
I have to admit I don’t like Tottenham or Man United and it was a pleasure to see Moyes’s statue like stature when Cardiff equalised. The Mersyside derby was the best of my life time and could of easily ended up a silly scoreline like 7-7, rare to see both sides attack and it’s the best sport to watch when both teams are in that kind of gung-ho type of mood. Luis Suarez is a magician, seen a gap the size of a ball and stuck it through there. When Lukaku scored twice to make it 3-2 I exited my BT sport app on my iPad and flicking through the sky channels landed on Sky Sports News to see Jeff with his raised voiced "3-3 in the Mersyside derby" I immediately opened BT sport app to see Sturridge had flicked a Gerrard free kick into the back of the net.
How many assist does Gerrard have? Every game I see him pinging in crosses with sniper accuracy. According to the EA player performance index Liverpool have three players occupying the top ten… Sturridge, Gerrard and Suarez. Top four is still on the cards and few easy games before we play Tottenham, City and Chelsea. So nine points from the next three games will give us some momentum going into the business end. Suarez is irreplaceable and I can only see Madrid attracting Luis so fingers and toes crossed they don’t sell Benzema.
Still think Chelsea are the ones to beat, Arsenal and City still have a big chance with Liverpool still in the game. I hope the current top four stay the same would be a delight to see United and Spurs finish no-where. Can’t stand the overrated players Cleverley and Walker, how they’re ahead of others in England selections is a mystery. Big question from this weekend is how City can thrash a Spurs side 6-0 at home and look a totally different team at bottom placed Sunderland.

Man City
Home
Played 6 – Won 6 – Drawn 0 – Lost 0 –
Scored 26
– Conceded 2
Away
Played 6 – Won 1 – Drawn 1 – Lost 4 – Scored 8 – Conceded 10
Never have I seen such a discrepancy between home and away.
December 1, 2013 at 16:12 #460518Piss poor from Liverpool, good job United couldn’t beat spurs. Hopefully Southampton turn over Chelsea, at Stamford Bridge. Sturridge out for two months which could be the catalyst for a fifth or sixth finish he’s that important and it’s an important month… Possibly a make or break month for LFC.
Away at Tottenham
Away at City
Away at ChelseaWith a home against Cardiff sandwiched in between, scary.
Come on Southampton!!

Lots of games tonight! I like…….
Southampton 8/11 (home vs Villa)
Chelsea 4/7 (away vs Sunderland)
Tempted to lay City, will also probably lay City on the weekend away to Southampton -
