I have a fondness for some USA racing, including the Triple Crown, and it’s the Preakness tonight.
The Kentucky Derby winner is absent, but Secret Oath, the Kentucky Oaks winner, runs and receives 5lb from her eight rivals.
That task might just be beyond Epicenter, the Kentucky Derby runner up.
The race is at a minute past midnight at Pimlico (not the central London one).

They didn’t go that quick and that played in favour of Early Voting IMO.
Secret Oath and Epicenter both lay too far out of their ground, and though the filly ultimately wasn’t good enough anyway Epicenter might have been an unlucky loser.
Second in two Classics now – third time lucky in the Belmont?

This lightly-raced Gun Runner colt is very speedy so not sure he has the necessary stamina to handle the 12F Belmont Stakes. He’s probably going to be prepared for the 10F Travers and then the BC Classic. He looks promising. I also think that Epicenter will miss the Belmont as well, no point pushing his limits now…
