The English raiders have it to prove on the forecast easy surface so it’s Prix Djebel winner Rock Boy for me.

Modern Games. Nice colt, has very good turn of foot when closing…

Overall, I was interested in 3 here. Modern Games, Bayside Boy and Rock Boy. The Godolphin colt has obvious claims but I’ll just pass at the prices. Bayside Boy needs plenty of luck in running from stall 14, that has just about put me off so I’ll chip in with Ian for Rock Boy. He’s only run on Heavy ground so far but his sire Rock Of Gibraltar was versatile and was 2-2 in group 1’s at Longchamp. Add the step up in trip and a nice draw in stall 5 and 14/1 looks a lovely price (especially compared to some, I’m looking at you Lassaut and Claymore). Bonne Chance!

They seemed to be going some pace in the early stages there.

All credit to the winner because he was up there all the way.

French Derby looks within range for the winner.

    Thanks, GG.

Too early to say, but he could very well end up their No.1 by season’s end?

Tribute to W. Buick who rode Yibir (3rd.) yesterday in New York and was ready to go today…
