4.15 Naas Lugnaquilla 16-1 0.5pt ew 4pl
A big filly for next year per the trainer but got her head in front last time.October 19, 2020 at 17:50 #1506731
Only got into town late today- my eyes lit on the last copy of the Racing Post magically still there at 4pm- checked inside, yep some wee stoke had nicked the Elliott stable tour pullout out of it. Can some kind soul with a copy let me know what he said about Grangeclare Native please?October 20, 2020 at 13:37 #1506805
Captain Guinness getting backed like defeat is out of the question but it’s making some nuce ew value elsewhere. Jessie Harrington can train a jumper too and Exit Poll was unlucky to unseat on his first try over fences. He jumped well loose thereafter and has the physique of a chaser. Full brother to Ex Patriot, who doesn’t mind soft ground and was frequently ridden by the excellent pilot on top today. Ground might be a bit soft for some of the rest.
It’s an interesting race. I saw Entoucas at Down Royal this time last year and thought he was a big bony chaser in the making; and Dis Donc gets another spin though probably win’t like the ground. (Why on earth did Meade start him at Galway where he previously nearly got killed? Give the horse a chance!! Am hoping for a gentle safe clear round from him today).

Sapphire Lady, Beret Rouge+ Robin des Foret 18-1 1pt winOctober 23, 2020 at 14:40 #1507040
One out of 3! Think Robin needs a wind op and a rest.
Enjoying the racing today. Galvin for Grand National 2022??

4.45 Chel Getaway Trump 3-1 0.5 pt win
Too much difference in price between him and Fusil Raffles I think.
Would love Return Ticket to do it as I watched him a bit last year, but even though his jumping’s improving and ground not too bad, it may be beyond him.October 23, 2020 at 16:51 #1507055
Meh. Made a hash of 3 and 2 out and coasted home. Return Ticket gave it a good go off the front. Fusil R lovely looking horse.October 23, 2020 at 17:04 #1507058FinalFurlong91Participant

Hes become a very dissapointing horse has getaway trump
Just seems to find absolutely nothing for pressure these days
Though I don’t think small field novices play to his strengthsOctober 24, 2020 at 14:55 #1507173
15.50 Chel Cogry 6-1 1pt ew
Doesn’t seem ground dependent and knows the course better than his own stable.October 24, 2020 at 16:03 #1507195
Not Cogry’s day but he wouldn’t have beaten Frodon. Just super.

He jumped a bit deliberately but got me the ew return. Pleased to hear the Giggi/deB horse got up, thought he was a goner.
12.50 Chep Only the Bold 7-2 1pt win
Out of a mare who produced a couple of good winners and this one cost a few bob after winning P2P.October 27, 2020 at 15:19 #1507512
Ran nicely but well beaten by a bigger more forward one. Trainer’s 4yo Stargate is one to watch too.
Hoping wind op has done the job for my next one
