It is a little-known fact that the winner gets a key for the year to the TRF executive washroom, where Corm and all the admin hang out, but sadly that was so often abused by Hughesey this past year (getting drunk every time Gaelic Warrior won, throwing up in the loos) that the privilege has been rescinded.

But the winner remains an ambassador for both TRF and the sport.

So please think about the optics of voting a known Tree Killer as winner.

All tree-hugging antis will have a field day.
