Comparing a collection of knuckle-shuffling pics with your mates strikes me as a far more interesting hobby for sappy schoolboys to indulge in than swopping ‘Soccer Stars’ and ‘Captain Scarlet’ cards, which is all we had. Apart from the occasional glimpse up Mrs Perry’s skirt. Oh that skirt Miss!, it was too, too short

My favourite T-Shirt used to carry the slogan "It aint porn unless there’s a donkey in it"
January 17, 2009 at 01:12 #204496I’ve got a teenage daughter the same age, and although I haven’t found her watching any porn, I think and hope I’d react the same way you did. It’s a sad fact these days but it’s just what you have to grit your teeth and put up with as part of growing up in the 21st century. The fact that you and your son were able to talk about it in an adult way is so important IMO. I do that with my daughter. If you treat them with respect and intelligence, they’ll treat you the same. My daughter greeted me one morning as she was about to leave for school with "I think I need to get the morning after pill". Well what can you do? No use crying over spilt milk. We talked a lot about her situation (long term first boyfriend) and eventually put her on the pill. She asked to go on it, and I think that’s a responsible thing to do. I think it’s absolutely crucial to ensure that the child knows they can talk to you about anything and they’ll get a measured, calm response. That’s not to say you can’t tell them you’re disappointed or upset, just don’t yell or try to make out the world’s come to an end!

Its perfectly natural for teenage lads to be looking at porn its all part of growing up.
Just tell the Mrs to chill out a bit.
January 17, 2009 at 22:22 #204759True. Most men look at porn when they are young, it helps them too figure out which team they bat for and also let off steam.
Sit him down and ask him what kind of porn he likes ( minus your Mrs), , then buy him a sauncy cd, that way you too a point control porn access.
Its an idea.January 17, 2009 at 22:33 #204764Roland, there is, of course, another option that you may wish to consider.
Simply film yourself and Mrs Roland in flagrante delicto as it were, and send the resulting output to your son’s mobile phone.
It may traumatise him for life, but it will probably put him off viewing porn for a while.
January 18, 2009 at 02:47 #204806True or he might ask if he can watch it more often and turn the boy into a swinger who is always trying too shag his step mum.
