You’ve got to pick the outcome of any weekend league soccer match or die. Inevitably we’d all go for the long odds-on shots (a recipe for disaster imo when gambling). But as it would be a case of life or death you don’t have to take "value" into account. Cue Rangers, Celtic, Man Utd, Arsenal,Chelsea selections
So, from this weekends fixtures, what one team you select to save your life?
I’ll go with ARSENAL to win away at Birmingham. Some may say they’ll be knackered after their champions league game, but can’t see them losing this.
What would your life saving selctions be?
How many weeks can one go before death?
(This exercise might well prove why odds-on soccer teams – especially the ones named above – are not great value for betting). Even so, I’m choosing one.

I’ll probably be going for an early exit but I will choose Swansea to beat Luton.

Yes, I would have to agree with Himself – if there is one team who are absolute certainties this weekend then it’s Rangers (did I say the world certainties  )

So it’s Rangers for me also – hopefully I’m still alive next week.

Rangers fine but what kind of a life is it backing 1.12 shots! If I may turn down obvious Man Utd and indulge in a little Russian Roulette:

West Brom ( Reckon they’ll be in destruction mode V Hull this weekend)

    Hibs in Scotland

    Nice in Ligue 1

That said Mikky, I would dearly incur a near death experience (yes, even a toothache  ) if poor old Gretna were to even win at a point tomorrow.

A Rangers supporting friend of mine (yes, I do have some) informed me this morning that he had a sizeable bet on Rangers to win, with Gretna receiving two goals of a start.

I actually feel quite sorry for him as his team were winning 4 – 1, only for Dr. Kenny Deuchar to deny him by scoring a second for Gretna in the dying minutes.
