I believe the mighty Regal Royale has provided him with him last 3 winners, 4 of his last 5, and 5 of his last 7. If only there was a seller he’d run him in. Some handicap mark for a real trainer to play with as a son of a Chevely Park winner.
August 2, 2009 at 02:21 #242203Just like another trainer D A Nolan?
why is this guy so bad?
Deer Park Lord anyone, with the official rating of 1?
Just for a few seconds this evening Nolan threatened to come up with a winner. Primo Way came through to lead two furlongs out only to be swamped in the final furlong. This one gave glimmer of hope for the future.
Nolan did introduce another ‘non-racehorse’ in Old Firm, an odd looking beast who certainly didn’t look a sprinter or anything required to raise more than a canter really, and duly lived down to expectations once the race started.

August 2, 2009 at 11:42 #242220I think Regal Parade’s victory at Lingfield last night had more to do with a massive draw bias (he grabbed the stands’ rail) on the straight turf track. His price held up in-running despite him racing on the fastest strip – I had a couple of early clicks then made the mistake of galncing down at the paper, looking at the trainer’s name and laying him back.
