Hi all
Well I’ve taken Nathens advice and started my own thread on this. Number of posts will, unless I’m succesful early doors be limited for first month or so, until some form patterns emerge.
Rationale behind this bet is to bet 3 selections between 8/11 and Evs usually all home. 2 win and break even or make a v small amount. All 3 win and you return triple your stake
However broken this rule by including York this w/e…but then see my title name and other posts in other sections for why I’m backing York!!!!
Cardinal rule for me though is to never back odds on aways…something I read many years ago and had stood me in good stead
Anyway this Sats selections are:
Spurs to bt Everton (If game on) Evs
York to Bbt Ebbsfleet 11/10
Falkirk to bt Partick Evs3 x 1pnt dbles
Odds taken from B365 as by my reckoning they collectively give best odds

August 11, 2011 at 07:31 #367744Best of luck Yorkie.
Have to say when I was looking at oddschecker Spurs at evens did stand out as a good thing on price. Arteta missing for Toffees(apparently) will be a blow for them aswell.

August 13, 2011 at 22:49 #367978Hi Nathan
Yes good start if a little fortunate with Yorks big money signing (Jason Walker) getting 2 goals in last 10 mins to come form 1-0 behind to win.
Running total 3 pts stake. Return = 6.2 point (Due to Spurs v Evertom postponed)
Current Prof / Loss +3.2pts

August 17, 2011 at 23:08 #368436As I made 3.2 pnts last week gonna tip up 3 more. Not big stakes as form still needs to sort itself out
Brentford at home to Leyton Orient 4/5
AFC wimbledon at home to Hereford 4/5
Walsal at home to Yeovil 11/10All with Bwin who I think are offering best combined odds
3 x 0.75 pnt dbles
Know the last one breaks my rule re being above evs but know a walsall fan who said they were superb on tues night re Sheff U even though they lost

August 22, 2011 at 23:41 #368915Well 1 win and 2 draws so no return
Also my 2 team both lost at home (York and Everton) so not a good w/e ftie wise either punting or from a "supporting" angle
Anyway onwards and upwards…I hope!!!
Off to Ireland for a wedding on Wed so if fancy anything this w/e will put them up tues eve.
Current profit / loss +0.95pnts

September 1, 2011 at 21:03 #369643Selections for 3rd Sep
Struggled to find 3 home selections so includes an away…but not odds on.
Southend to Beat Northampton Evs
Crawley to bt Bristol Rovers 4/5
Fleetwood to beat Kettering 6/5Stan James offer prices above and by my reckoning these are hte best available for all 3.
As form has still to really establish itself going to go for 3 x 0.75 dbles

September 2, 2011 at 10:25 #369670Seems like a good bet this one! I think Fleetwood are certain to win! the Crawley game might be the slip up!
September 4, 2011 at 16:56 #369940Well 2 out of 3 won so a small profit but count myself a little unlucky not to get all 3 up after Southend were 2-0 up after 60 mins.
profit loss b4 w/e 0.95 pnts
2.25 pnts staked this w/e
2.97 pnts returned (by my reckoning!!)
0.72 pnts profit for w/e
Total profit / loss = +1.67 pnts

September 6, 2011 at 09:42 #370134anybody got anything for tonights qualifiers?
September 6, 2011 at 11:40 #370158Re Request for tonights qualifiers
Would look at England winnig 2-0 11/2 and 3-0 6/1.
A lot of hotpots at home often win by these 2 scores especially 2-0. Certain people made some good money spotting this trend before the bookmakers did a few years ago when the prices for these 2 scores were more around 8/1 and 12/1

September 6, 2011 at 14:52 #370187Chunk in Rooney for the scorecast with 2-0, 3-0 even 4-0.

September 9, 2011 at 21:06 #370595Really struggled to find 3 results where one firm goes best odds or near best odds on all 3 to do in doubles this week.
4 results I do fancy but individually all best price with different firms then the other 3 all then seem to be the shortest price!!!!
Therefore 3 x 0.5 dbles this week.
Aston Villa +1 on handicap v Everton 3/4 BWIN
Colchester to bt Leyon Orient 3/4 SJ and Bwin
Mansfield to bt Newport County 10/11 Bwinyorkiedips
September 10, 2011 at 20:02 #370683Ouch…undone by a 92minute equaliser by LEyton Orient to stop all 3. What makes it worse is that 4thresult I considered before puttingthe other 3 up was Southampton at home to forest who won 3-2 with a winner in last 10 mins.
Again feel a bit unlucky but then I had my fair share of it on the first weekend.
Profit loss before todays results +1.67 points
1.5 points staked today
Todays return = 1.67 point
Total running profit / loss +1.84 points

September 17, 2011 at 11:52 #371201Todays 3 are
Motherwell to beat St Johnstone 5/6
Wrexham to beat York 6/5 (This really pains me to outline this!)
Walsall to beat Scunthorpe 5/6 (Draw no bet)3 x 0.75 pnt doubles at B365

September 30, 2011 at 19:04 #3725722 weeks ago was rubbish. But fro a personal point of view Yorks win was enjoyable. At moment they are very much Jeckyl and Hyde…beat top of table 2 games in a row 3-0 but also lose to part time teams like alfreton and Tamworth.
Anyway 3 for tomorrow are:
Wrexham to beat Ebsfleet 8/13
Stockport to beat York – Draw no bet 11/10 (Who knows "which" York team will turn up!!)
Liverpool to beat Everton draw no bet – 4/6Best odds for 3 results seem to be B365
Stakiing plan
1 x 0.75 point double Wrexham and Liverpool
2 x 0.5 dbles on other 2 resultsYorkiedips
