I don’t normally cheer horses home when I have backed the second but I had a bet in the 3.55 Chepstow e/w on THEDRINKYMEISTER at 7/1 and then all the way up the straight I found myself cheering on Paddy being 15 years old and having pretty much led all the way I honestly did not want mine to catch him!!

Well done Paddy :good: :good: and connections :good: :good:

Anybody else felt like this and if so how often??

I haven’t seen the race but what a fantastic result.

It probably helps Paddy’s longevity that he had only run in 11 races under rules by the time he turned 12.

In answer to your question Raymo I backed Clan Royal in the 2004 national but with Mark Bradburne who comes from a town only 12 miles from me on Lord Atterbury and Amberleigh House trying to give Ginger another National i was cheering all 3 home.
