    Ian, I am perhaps being premature in my post-match analysis, but I wonder if your unusually long absence in the lead-up to this year’s vote may have lost your campaign some momentum.

    I know the saying is “absence makes the heart grow fonder”, but I feel “out of sight, out of mind” may have prevailed!
