    Well done to Smith. He was superb on the back 9 and his up and down on the 17th was sensational. He deserved to win.

    But McIlroy must be hurt by that. Of the top 10, only him and Hovland scored in the 70s on a course that was in effect a par 68. He lost it on the front 9 when his putting frailty resurfaced.

    I got Spieth and Fleetwood placed which wasn’t bad but also got my patent up cos Rose was a non runner so that was good even though I thought at one time Lawrence was going to be top SA :good: :good:
