Odd price for HT/FT Barca in Hills

In Wilhelm Hills today they had some special prices on the screen for the Barca V Inter match.

Barcelona to be winning at half time and full time was 9/5.

Yet the "normal" HT/FT for Barca was 20/23.

I tried to work out what the difference was in the selection to merit the bigger price?

I asked the guy at the counter but he could not understand it either. There must be something specific about "winning at half time and full time"…that I can’t work out.

Was it a blip?

Anyone know?

Zips, it may be the larger price relates to ‘Winning the Match’ over two legs rather than just the secong leg.

i.e. 2-0 at Half Time & Full Time

But I’m only guessing

I saw the price today (I should have mentioned that in my OP). So I guess it could only relate to the 2nd leg.

Think Pompete meant that the odds could be for Barca to be in front in the tie at HT and FT. I.e. they needed to be 2-0 in front in todays match to win on aggregate.

Ahhhh, that would make sense – what an unusual bet.

I’ve not seen that one before and, from what I can remember, it did not say "for the tie" on the screen in Hills – but I could be wrong about that. Just shows that you could prob take 9/5 about Barca HT/FT in the 2nd leg without the staff realising anything fishy was going on.

I guess your explanation makes sense so I’ll assume it’s the right one
