If you were a race reader, how would you describe that?!

P.S. The beast is entered in the UAE Derby

Jockey was obviously looking for the better ground, a la Ryan Moore in the Eclipse!

Numaany is engaged in the UAE Guineas on friday. Wouldn’t want to be drawn outside of him.

You’ld want written confirmation that your local bookie pays First Past The Post on Dubai racing anyway!!!

There is a very similar race occurrence in Japan on a muddy track where the horse calls it a day and jog-trots off the screen, only to grab hold of the bit again and swoop home for a crazy win. I’ll try and find it.

You say Shergar … I say Silky Sullivan!

Awight fellas…just letting you know that the wandering Numaany runs in the UAE 2000 Gns tomoz at 6.00PM. I assume you know, but just in case. An absolutely electric race in prospect. I’ve got the beer and peanuts by the sofa already.

You can see the race on both specialist horse racing channels. At the same time, the BBC is showing a cookery quiz show hosted by Lene Lovich and Chico.

I am fearful of the Mike de Kock brigade, especially Honour Devil.

But I want Etched to win – out of Unbridled Elaine who won the 2001 Breeders’ Cup Distaff, a race which I declared as being one of the best I have seen.

Ted Durcan is on board tonight – considering that Dettori and McEvoy are on Etched and My Indy, it’s worth noting in the back of your mind.
