Bangers and Cash was a good selection. Clearly well prepared with a race plan, I think. 2023 has been a great year for you. Long may it continue in 2024.

Yeah happy with him, got 22’s EW in the end, so really happy. Very happy with how 2023 went, with Sire Du Berlais the highlight.

Happy New Year to you and the family

Few bets on the go today. Fancied Kiln Time at Tramore as well, but the price has gone. Wanted to bet Jungle Boogie as well in running, but the price has gone on him too, so not so sure now. Brewinupastorm is drifting, but I won’t top up

Ballywilliam Boy the main hope today, snd thought the 33’s way too big. Same applied to Weihnachts later on card. Bumpy Johnson risky at Wincanton, but the price drawing me in.

Liked George’s Saint and Teescomponentstrig as well, but both too short

Poor all round yesterday. Main concern was Ballywilliam Boy. The other pair were just token gestures, but really fancied Ballywilliam Boy, and never looked like getting any of my cash back

Dom of Mary let me down the first time I backed him, but I at least got my cash back from him Antepost for Chepstow, so another go here

Rare bet at Sedgefield, but I just like Livings Boy An Co again. Can’t believe he was 25’s. Didn’t get a sniff though, and settled for 14’s

Could be a busy Saturday, so hoping he pays for it at least

Really strong days racing this. Usual problem for me though, with so many selections. Standard approach then of laying off where possible. Reluctantly with three in Veterans, so strictly one in Classic Chase

Most of these covered in Big Races. Moroder possibly the one I’ll cash out to reduce numbers.

Pleased to see Trustyourinstinct back out, while I’m also looking at these………

    Douglas DC
    Kaleb
    Polo Lounge

Douglas DC was an Antepost loser in Lanzarote, but I think he’s interesting here, while Kaleb very much considered for Lanzarote. Polo Lounge is some price, but he definitely has a good race in him. Neveradullmoment is a competition regular for me, but just too short today

Veterans – Lord Du Mesnil 12’s

Edited again. Went back in on Moroder, and cashed out Kaleb. I’ll have a look at him after a few of mine have run

Really struggled to pick anything out tomorrow at Navan, even if it was on, but in the 1320 I went for Chance Another One, who looked a bit on the big side at 150’s

In the 1542, chanced Hutchie. Quite liked his run on Monday

    Edit ended up with 100’s

Thanks mate, very happy with that. Caoilin Quinn gave Movethechains a peach of a ride, and a jockey I really like, while money back in running from Stattler, so a good day, after the poor Saturday choices.

My old friend Fiveaftermidnight out today, and can’t leave her. Started at 16’s, but hoping to beat that

Repost as a big change on Hillview

Perhaps time for Fiveaftermidnight to be retired. Been a cracking horse to follow, but she’s been really laboured recently

Love The Thyestes, and in a strange mindset with Ontheropes. Really liked him for this, a long term fancy, so was delighted when he opened 40’s. Major concern though, that he’s not been backed. That can’t be said for the second choice Dunboyne, and hoping for a big run. I’d be very very happy to be wrong about Ontheropes. Don’t fancy old pal Any Second Now, but he’s certainly the sentimental selection

Can’t possibly bet Thedevilscoachman at the odds, but I’ve covered him in The Stayers Hurdle. Even if he wins tomorrow, something telling me he won’t go to Cheltenham regardless. NRNB covers that

Like a couple of outsiders at Huntingdon. Midnight Mary looks way short of this, but hoping Bryony can steal a bit of a March on them

Hillview has already let me down this year, but the fact he gets an entry for The Browm Advisory, at least shows me he’s got something to offer. This is a Pertemps Qualifier though, and hoping Chantry House can qualify

No joy in The Thyestes, a race I love to win, but at least no excuses. Thought it sensible to cash out Ontheropes for Aintree, but I wasn’t completely disheartened with him, and I can see me betting him again this season.

Crazy days racing tomorrow, and mine covered in Big Races already.

At Fairyhouse, I could easily have went with Mc Alpine or Midnight It Is in the opener, while only the fact I liked three of them, Midweek Voice, Good Lad, and Paddy’s Milestone, stopped me betting in the 1525. At Doncaster, one of last years notebook horses, Hunting Brook, makes the journey across, and I think he’s a horse to keep onside this year, but I have to draw the line somewhere. Donny Boy was another I liked, in the last

Not too many today, but hopeful that I can get a run for my money in the big one. Delighted with how Sam Brown has came in in the betting, and I’ll lay my stake back for a free race. Think if Yorksea jumps off, I can easily get my stake back for a free race there too.

Much better today, and delighted with Faivoir who was main bet, and with Sam Brown giving me a free race, happy enough with that.

Decent cards at Exeter and Navan Sunday.

I won’t hold it against Sire Du Berlais if he wins without me betting him, but I just prefer a proper old favourite in Galvin. I’ve taken 20’s, but fancy I might be able to beat that.

11-2 was ok I thought for Ramses De Teille, and still got thoughts of The Ultima for Remastered, though he does look a nice price tomorrow

At shorter prices I’ve left Mill Green, Zeeband, and Neveradullmoment alone, but I will take a chance on Butty O’Brien at 40’s in The Apples Jade Hurdle. Tough ask this, but I really like her

Quite happy to have a few tomorrow. Usually reluctant with this many, but it’s just one of those days, and if they all sink, they all sink.

Wakool wouldn’t be a strong fancy in The Rendlesham, but couldn’t leave him out.

Shortly after, in the 1452 at Gowran Park, I like Atimetodream and Decimation. Haven’t bet them yet, and still undecided. Certainly bet them if Wakool comes in.

I missed the big midweek prices on my pair in The Swinley Chase, but happy with the pair of them. Torn and Frayed has been bang average, but his comeback run hinted that he might still have ability.

I was going to swerve The National Trial, and just stick with my loser on Empire Steel, but that 33’s on Full Back, with Caoilin Quinn on board was too good too miss.

In the Pertemps, I’m with Our Sam, though if I have any luck earlier, I’ll cover Schalke. The Prestige Hurdle will tell me whether or not I’ve got a decent bet with Great Pepper in The Albert Bartlett, and I really liked him here too.

Washout today, but siding with the JP pair in The National Trial at Punchestown. Considering a saver on Royal Thief.

I’ve taken 20’s the pair of them, but reckon I can top that on Any Second Now. Still like him for Fairyhouse
