Honestly, am I the only one who thinks this is less than a slap on the wrist for such behaviour?
Racecourse ban for horsebox driver who drove at traffic stewards

Iirc in the Racing Post article (which I can’t find now) it was reported that he was going to take an anger management course, but couldn’t afford it! And his employer said he’s a bit wild. Hm, this is more than a bit wild sir.

April 23, 2021 at 21:54 #1537629I loved the fact that his legal team said that he wasn’t as bad as the BHA were making him out to be
April 24, 2021 at 02:28 #1537658He “blows hot and cold” apparently, and sounds very much like one of those people who leaves a trail of unhappiness in his wake as he goes around ruining people’s days with his overreactions.
Perhaps the end of the ban should be made conditional on him actually completing the anger management course. If he can’t afford to pay for it, perhaps his employer who he is representing at the racecourse may want to chip in.
April 24, 2021 at 08:26 #1537668“Blows hot and cold” sounds like a seriously unstable individual who either needs to splash out on the anger management course or find a less stressful job that doesn’t involve driving. Woeful penalty for such behaviour.
