I don’t know if they are planning to campaign this horse on the all-weather this winter, but he ran on quite well when finishing in the mid-division in a 10 furlong handicap at Lingfield on 16/10/2002 having been held up and not exactly put under much pressure.
He is trained by A P Jarvis who does quite well with this type and I would imagine Next Flight would be suited by 12 or 13 furlongs at Lingfield.
The horse is a little high in the handicap at present, but should have been dropped to around 65 now, which is starting to look reasonable.
Certainly one to look out for this winter…

As I understand it the idea behind the Community Notebook is absolutely about sharing information and pointers such as this. However, it’s going to get very messy if all the nuggets are hidden away in various threads.
Can I suggest you start a new topic titled ‘Ros The Boss’ and keep us updated from time to time.
Cheers,
