I don’t find Gladders even remotely embarrassing.
Pedantic at times, perhaps, but then so am I and he has a dry wit I consistently enjoy – even when I’m the target of it!
He’s also very consistent in his political views – Green, not Labour and he has a healthy, if possibly jaded by experience, cynicism about the more right-wing elements of the media and those who fall for their propaganda.
I can also state something Gladders is NOT – someone who descends into expletives and hysterical, irrational, hate speech regarding those perceived to be at the opposite end of the political spectrum to himself.

It’s a pity that Clive descends to such puerile behaviour, as he is genuinely witty (he comes up with some quality one-liners, including one he made at my expense) and capable of putting forward some very interesting arguments. However, his propensity to just hurl personal insults, together with his toys out of the pram, isn’t something which would be tolerated on many Internet forums; he should be pleased that TRF is more tolerant (and, I hasten to add, all the better for it) than many places.

Show me one example of where I’ve done that. Clue: you can’t. I have cited research that argued that those on the right tend to be less educated and less intelligent; that is not the same as calling you all thick- indeed, I specifically stated at the time that said research does not mean that all Conservative voters are stupid.
