    With a bit of luck we will run Ballycassidy in a hunter chase at Fakenham next Tuesday. Strangely enough I now have two other Ballys Ballyvesey and Ballyhar Paddy.

    Surely you’re not the same Roddy Owen who won the 1892 Grand National and was in the Lancashire Fusiliers?

    I note he’s in an Open point at Pentreclwydau a day earlier, too. Is that second preference at this stage?

    For entirely selfish reasons, I was hoping the old boy might have made an appearance at Cheltenham’s hunter chase evening on the Wednesday, but I’m sure he’ll enjoy spinning off the bends and trying to run them to sleep at Fakenham instead. Wishing you all the best!
