21 ran NR: Brentford Hope, Luccia, Tellherthename, Under Control

If any of these got selected then I will use your substitute horse automatically.
With so many non runners, it possible that even with reserves you will be left with less than 2 selections in which case I will just calculate those which actually ran.

    HONOURABLE MENTIONS

These are the hard luck stories this week.

Wyldesyde had Our Champ (7th) as his EW shot and the 5th placed Faivoir as his winner.

Greenasgrass and myself went for the wrong winner too, but Green had L’Eau Du Sud the runner up, where mine probably had some fancy Ice Cream dish laden him down (6th) Knicknerbockerglory.

John Gooch did select the winner, but was unplayed as his reserve.

Michael Walsh fell foul of all the non runners this week and only had 1 runner for him.

    AND THE POINTS GOES TO

Joint best this week and joining our leader (in terms of best outsider that is) is VENTURE TO COGNAC and 007CANFORDSCLIFF they both had the 50/1 fifth. Well done guys I knew it was within you to go for the more imaginative price. :yahoo:

    Venture To Cognac’s old score (-493.75) – stake (100) + winnings (337.50) = new score (-256.25)

    007Canfordscliff’s old score (+43.50) – stake (100) + winnings (337.50) = new score (+281)

KENDICATE found this week’s winner and also added the third place to his score to.

    Kendicate’s old score (-12.50) – stake (100) + winnings (325 + 112.50) = new score (+325)

STEVE75 also got in on the act by getting the winner, too.

    Steve75’s old score (+153.12) – stake (100) + winnings (221.88) = new score (+275)

JOHN GOOCH had the well priced runner up, really had luck :good:

    John Gooch’s old score (-599.37) – stake (100) + winnings (200) = new score (-499.37)

While RAYMO61 and BIGG both benefited by the extra place because the original field would have been 25 runners with the 4 non runners taken into account.

    Raymo61’s old score (+193.75) – stake (100) + winnings (162.50) = new score (256.25)

    BigG’s old score (-862.50) – stake (100) + winnings (162.50) = new score (-800)

MICHAEL WALSH while not having any winners this week, only had 1 runner because of the non runners.

    Michael Walsh’s old score (+43.50) – stake (50) + winnings (0) = new score (-6.50)

First: The usual but all important check your scores for errors and let me know if I’d made any.
I will correct it if any are found ASAP.

Second : Most of the races will be of the National Hunt except when the main venue gets cancelled for reasons or the Lincoln in spring.

Third : As always I must give my acknowledgement to Pat123 for inspiring this competition.
