21 ran so in Neil’s rules 5th qualifies as a place

5th Rabaah 9/1

Quinault was a popular winner and 5 of you, Michael Walsh, John Gooch
Triptych, Chivers 1987 and Euroalien, all picked out the winner at a
very decent 15/2

Two of you, Nathan Hughes and Nawoo, had the 2nd Washington Heights as their
place horse at 6/1

Nobody had the 3rd place horse, Mill Stream, as an E/W choice.

The Queen of Newmarket Jac (Triptych) seems to have been the Queen of
York for the day not only with the winner but also the 4th placed
Eminency 10/1 as her place horse. Well done Jac, the 2 of those will
make a fine score when Neil gets back from his holibags

The 5th place Rabaah, 9/1, counted as 21 ran and it was lucky for me
(BigG) that they did.

Hard luck story of the day goes to robnorth who had Washington Heights
as his win bet. That must have hurt Rob, so near but just done out of
it by a hd. Bad luck mate.

Neil has picked out the Wokingham at Ascot as next week’s race. Best of
luck picking one out of that nightmare. Only 1 favourite has won in the
last 12 years. Entries will continue on this thread for next week.
