Mubakker has a decent record dec/jan time and has done well after a long break/1st run in a while
back down in trip will help as the mile was a bit far

    7/2 (15:10 Meydan) Mubakker

    2nd again yesterday..

Plenty of bankers of the day today.. Love Envoi, Authorised Speed, Bo Zenith and Fancy Girl to name a few

I’ve whittle my nap of the day down to 2

Gemirande was going to be the the pick.. Really impressive LTO, form has been consistent for about a year now and could be in his prime. the going is turning soft and worst and the hike in the weights plus going was enough to put me off

So I’ve gone for Fivethousandtoone, Balding ran this one in a similar race last year came last of 5 but only 3 lengths off the winner. Has been running in decent handicaps so if fit and well could put it up to the all weather specialists. Hard to believe he was 4 lengths beat as a two year old in the Dewhurst behind St Marks Basilica

    9/2 (19:30 Kempton) bog Fivethousandtoone

    Next time for Fivethousandtoone Nathan.
He was so unlucky with the slow start..but what a finish to be third. :good: Jac

Champ Kiely Started fav for the Royal Bond and was beaten by a good horse.
I think hes capable of bouncing back, has run the distance before and wouldn’t surprise me if he is fighting it out with his stable mate at the finish. At the odds worthy of being Nap of the Day

    7/1 (14:20 Naas) Champ Kiely

Forever William ran well for a long time against Pied Piper at Cheltenham. At the festival had a tough time of things in the Boodles again at 2 miles. This distance is longer and the course is flatter which I think will help. The market leaders have great strike rates but are conceding a bit of weight to Forever William who is 4lb lower than what he was at the festival

Great work with Champ Kiely yesturday Nath! I’d lost faith in the horse after his recent loss so you’re a shrewder man than me for seeing the value there and keeping the faith!

Best of luck with this one at Taunton, seems very fair odds for a horse who’s been racing in good company.

Thanks Ben.. Interesting the jockey saying after the race that he’d have been more concerned if the horse was on the bridle as it would have meant they were going to slow and he has plenty of stamina. Makes me think a similar trip at a course like Cheltenham or up in trip at a flat track wouldn’t be out of the question. It was a tight finish between 3 so they weight possibly made the difference as well as the good ride

    Forever William returned 6.5 pts

    Thanks Sam..

The fav has good connections, owner, jockey and trainer, even the pedigree is sh!t hot
Her last run/win was over this distance but before that had been running over 10 and 12 furlongs. She should be in with a chance but I prefer Wadacre Grace who was second beaten a neck against Morgan Fairy albeit was the lightest of light weights but that followed up 2 other 2nds including c&d beaten by Miss Britain who runs here too and also has a chance but I’m more taken with Wadacre Grace based on her last run

3/1 bog (18:30 Southwell) Wadacre Grace

The fav has drifted from 5/4 to 9/4
The money has come for Miss Britain instead of my selection but form wise there isn’t much between them

Getting on tomorrows NAP early, think it will be nearer 1/2
This horse opened up with bet365 at 2’s that went 7/4, that went 13/8 and that went 11/10 and that went 4/5
William Hill are still standing 11/10
Rabaah lost a Leicester maiden, beaten just over 6 lengths 3rd to Show Respect. Show Respect was previous 4th beaten 6 lengths to Royal Scotsman and has since been beaten 8 lengths in the Coventry and after that 1 and half length 2nd to Persian Force.
Rabaah’s sire is Dubawi so you can almost certainly expect plenty of improvement.
Was given the usually easy ride from connections on debut.
Crowley’s only ride of the day. One of the main challengers is a 4 year old and only ran once so suggestions he could be a bit backward, so he gets a nice weight for age allowance. The 2nd favs form isn’t all that and has been off 188 days so no advantage there.

    11/10 (13:45 Lingfield) Rabaah

Wadacre Grace finished a well beaten second
I’m pleased to have got on Rabaah early though as he is odds on including the exchange

    Thanks Mike, umm
    I mean Ben..😂😂

Sky kept pushing him out on a boost to 1/1 and 11/10 so I kept sticking more on.
    Ill discipline or taking value.
It’s a fine line, dependant on results…

Hahaha it is indeed a fine line! I was thinking that last night actually when I couldn’t sleep regarding gambling addiction, it can be so dangerous because it’s probably the only addiction that sometimes only has a positive impact, all other drugs and addictions have negative side effects, but if you’re a winning gambling addict then half of the time there are literally no negative consequences! Not saying this is you or me btw just found it funny you mentioning that after me having those thoughts last night lol.

Well done though mate, won easily in the end even after taking a pull early on!

He gave a bit of a worry early on, but once the cobwebs were blown away the ability shown on debut was all the quality on show.
    Good run from the second.
    Well done Nathan. :good:
