There are politicians and there are politicians.
Nadine Dorries is about as good an advert for intellect in the Conservative Party as Dianne Abbot is for the same thing in Labour.
Plenty of equally-thick blokes in both parties too, btw – so I’m not being sexist.

Just in case any feminists out there have any lingering doubts, I consider Michael Fabricant even more stupid than either of the ladies in question and I’m sure there are male Labour MP fools out there too if you look hard enough.

Before anyone criticises me, I am under no illusion about some of the intellects on the government benches either.
Unfortunately it appears very likely when the constituency boundaries are changed Mad Nad will be our MP.

None of the others have got the attention span to play chess; for all her faults, good old Di can bang on for hours about the same thing.
Di’s illusion of choice for masquerading as an intellectual is to speak….VERY….slowly.
