I’ve added Weet A Round to my notebook yesterday as he was certainly unfit but still managed to finished 5/20. A trainer that clearly doesn’t abide to the rules (been warned off here & in different countries) but I expect this one to be in the winners enclosure sooner rather than later probably with a huge gamble to boot!

After researching deeper I think it’ll be worth waiting until this one returns to 6 furlongs on Good or firmer ground as it’s clearly ready to win when the money will be down.

    29/04/03 Nottingham.

Ridgeback ran a cracker from a very slow stands side and was beaten a mere 1.75 lenghts by horses much better drawn, coming home over 6 lenghts clear of the others racing that side and most of those drawn well looks a good thing for a future race.

Ignore my bad draw comment for Ridgeback as this is not the case.

It’s Ecco Boy has been knocking on the door recently and will win a poor race very soon. I’ve had this one in my notebook for 3 months now but hasn’t quite done enough to get in here but I am certain the horse is extremely genuine and will win very soon.

Runs today but it looks a much hotter race than he’ll be up to winning so although I’ve had a couple of quid on at 50’s I doubt today will be his day but when he drops in grade that will be the time hopefully.

Ran well again today finishing 4th to H Harrison(after finishing 6th to Atavus yesterday),just that worrying niggle that the horse doesn’t win very often.

Western Commander showed all the ability to be fully justified to be marked down as a future winner over hurdles after an unlucky 4. had no room but showed enough of a turn of foot to win at a less busy race very soon.
