Ol’ Windy drops in now and again then goes "walkabout", I think he is a frustrated Aussie with ants in his pants. Be that as it may, when he is here he certainly stirs things up and Ward 7 is a better place.

He wanted to see some fresh systems posted along with the rules, posting the selections plus Profit/Loss, otherwise how the hell do we know if it is profitable.

So lets be kind to the old bugger, after all he has got a gammy hand and gout in his feet and massive bar bill for all the "Grouse" he drinks. I makes you wonder how he makes a profit.

I will start the ball rolling with a quick and easy system and post every day (when possible, some days I am never sure if I am on my head or my arse and it is just not possible).

    Rules: –

From the Racing Post select the longest Price Forecast Favourite – if more than one with the same price select the one in the race with the highest value.

    Selection for Tuesday

    Southwell 4.50 APRIL FOOL FcSp 9/2 [b:21vh7k6h]LOST[/color:21vh7k6h][/b:21vh7k6h]
    £1 @ 9/2 Wm Hill BOG

If you have a simple system start a new thread with ref. to MrE in the subject heading and lets see how many of you will take the challenge.

    Nothing new under the sun

    Manchester

although sometimes some old little gems can fade along with the mists of time.

Maybe some of the older ones simply require a little updating but I guess these are the trials of being a systemite.

I found this one within the archive of another forum, it was played for fun but did show a small profit, it may require a tweak along the way such as having a former distance win, specific field size, handicap or no and so it can go on but I will repeat something an old player told me that you can overcomplicate good ideas and the more filters used reduces the profitability.

    Who knows

Anyway I have a price for todays runner BEST ONE

    Selection for Saturday

At 10/1 the RP fav. is in the big one, The CESAREWITCH with 34 declared runners. Anyone with half a brain will swerve this selection or perhaps consider betting each way. CORAL’s are showing 18/1 but only 4 places, Ladbrokes showing 14/1 with 5 places.

    Newmarket 3.50 BEYOND RP FcSp @ 10/1

I am a swerver and will not play (now watch it win).

    Bank loss = £2
