Hi folks while im new on here i would like to make a thread about the grand national and Mr Frisk’s recors time of 8 minutes and 47 seconds! does annyone here think a horse in the future may beat/get closr to that time or was it because the ground staff did little watering in those days

I think the chances of true fast ground horses are diminished by watering in the G N.This must affect the times.
I had Mr Frisk top rated,but did not back him as I thought he was best in small fields.

If you go to back a certainty always buy a return ticket.

I’d picked MR Frisk out in the paddock & my Mum said I was silly because he was sweating up ( i was 14 years old at the time ) she didn’t think I was silly 9 minute later just upset that she hadn’t put the mortgage on him
