    Sadly announced on ITV as having been lost after the Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham today. RIP Mount Windsor

    So sad. He looked a picture beforehand and was running a great race before stopping so quickly 2 out I immediately thought that something must be wrong. Pity he didn’t pull him up then. Might not have made any difference but at least all the families with small children on the rails on “Family Fun Day” wouldn’t have had to witness it.

    Sad end … hopefully sensible adults will have immediately distracted any youngsters and turned away …

    Hopefully. ITV said he’d been PTS after suffering an injury. According to Chris Gordon it was instant though so at least he didn’t suffer (heart attack).
