There’s some very likely looking types in there, and I’m drawn to Faivoir and Solo at the moment.
Solo looks very big at 20’s. He was really looked after in The Lanzarote, and I think he’s a lot better than we’ve seen so far. He was a 157 horse going into The Triumph last year, and he’s plummeted down to 141 now. I’m no buying that, he’s no regressed that much. I’m happy to have an early go at that price, and I’d love to see 25’s. He’s got a County Hurdle entry, and don’t see why he can’t put himself in line for the bonus.
Faivoir is a horse I really like, and was surprised to see him missing from The County Hurdle entries. This looks ideal for him, and not the biggest shock to see him near the head of the market. I’m happy to wait with him, and I’d maybe look for around 8’s on Monday. His stablemate, and market leader, Proschema, is also appealing, but he would be very ground dependent.
