Interesting race… If White Birch hadn’t been off for so long I’d make him odds on as I’m not convinced Los Angeles is as good at 10f as he is over longer

White Birch is drifting badly now, probably due to the drying ground.
The trainer reported him to look superb a few weeks back though so if he gets much bigger, I might take some.
That 300+ days off is always a concern. Haatem 300+ days off, Hand Of God 300+ days off. Doesn’t mean he can’t win but not worth the risk.
Would be happy to see an encouraging run for the fyooture.Took a chance on White Birch at 9/2 though can’t be confident with so much weakness in the market.
Good luck with your bet Nathan, he’s got a decent chance of nicking it on this ground and the trainer’s in form. I love White Birch but no bet for me. Pretty interested to see how the other JOB runners get on with a view to handicaps over further later in the year- this is one of his Melbourne Cup campaign starter races I think.
