I think from the above I’ve shown a general idea of what I’m upto on this thread, so I’ve decided rather than update daily and weekly I shall post a summary once a month.
Hi Pompete

if you don’t mind me saying, I think this approach is likely
to be too wholesale/broad brush to be worthwhile.

The betting market is generally known to be a good guide. The big question here is, which trainers repeatedly land coups?

I have been saving RP forecast prices, since 01Jan07. If they were combined with the opening and starting prices, it might begin to provide some answers.

Might be worth making a note of how the noted horses perform in their next race.

    Hi Pete,

I’m back at work next week and I’ll send you a spreadsheet for keeping your records on that will automatically tell you when the horse runs next time out using a web-query, I’ll put some functions on it as well for easy record keeping.

Good for you, I hope you enjoy yourself and keep me up to speed with your progress.

It can also be used for tracking trainers, speed horses or whatever you want really.

You know what I was doing this season anyhow .. and how rich I aren’t ..
