    Zarkava,

Unfortunately for me because I’m always looking for horses that may have been plotted up, it means that I will be backing horses from unsavoury yards that may not be off. As a result I have to accept that every now and then I will be on a non trier, and will know my fate before the stalls have even opened. In sprints it’s amazing how many drifters miss the break when they’ve had no trouble getting away on terms in the past.

Over the years I’ve got very good at reading the markets, today I got it wrong with Tombi, he will have his day this year, trying to predict it may not be easy though.

I ended up leaving the 4.00 at Southwell and the 5.10 at Pontefract alone. Tomorrow I will be looking at the 2 middle distance handicaps at Epsom.

Off to Doncaster Bloodstock Sales tomorrow, then away for the weekend so that will be it until next Tuesday. Have a good Easter.

Easter went on for longer than I thought!

Looking at Guga in the 4.50 at Yarmouth today, won’t be getting involved at the current price, but hoping he will drift out before getting hammered late.

Guga has been very strong all day. Providing he does not go off too hard early then I would expect him to win. Last night I was expecting 6 or 7/1, so taking 7/2 is nothing to get too excited about, but he is the best handicapped horse in a very weak race.

Today I’m looking at the 3.35 at York, and the 8.50 and 9.20 at Kempton
