Well…
Last week was ultimately disappointing with a good pick-up on Monday, a small one on Tuesday and then zip for the rest of the week. Overall £3 profit, which is better than a kick in the plums, but could have been much better! Roll on this week – same £6 a day format!
8:55 Windsor
A nice little sprint, which I think (hope) I’ve boiled down to three with a chance.
Dancing Mystery looks to be on the wane now, Bahamian Ballet‘s only decent run was on the dirt – possibly a specialism developing there, and Gwilym is a 3yo in only moderate form taking on hardened older campaigners, so these three look worth opposing.
Of the fancied runners, Blessed Place doesn’t really seem to like Windsor that much with a win accompanied by four unplaced efforts at the course, whilst Clive Cox doesn’t have a great track record and his runner, Chinalea, seems better with more cut.
This leaves my trio, namely the in-form Endless Summer, and two runners suited by fast-ground sprints and who have shown distinct signs of coming back to form off very feasible marks, Silver Prelude and Extremely Rare. With the first named quite short in the market, I’ll play exactas rather than the csf, and hope I don’t regret it!
