If you are looking in Captain please pop in for a friendly Chezz chat – we don’t want this to develop into a Razeen fixation.

Can’t fault Nathan’s commando “search and apprehend” tactics.

Four days to go and tbf here at Command HQ we’re not a million miles off hitting the panic button.

House-to-house searches, stop and search and sporadic postings on racing and betting internet forums are all being considered.

The CIA, the FBI, MI5, MI6, and, most importantly of all, the notorious Herr Natheinrich Hughesen (Somerset Gestapo Division) are all on the case.

A fine post of desperation from ” Dickie ” I did enjoy reading it, but cannot think why I seem to want to call the chief ‘Dickie’ all of a sudden.
It’s a very good idea from you Gnatman about sending the Captain who has robbed us of himself a simple message. I like the thought patterns.

It was a communication, or many, from the talking site that told me someone was trying to communicate with me (a poster I had never heard of but who knows ? someone I might know maybe absconded from here). Fact is I thought I was permanently banned from there, but by all accounts I seem to have been reprieved. They all love a gamble in the end !
There seems to be a painful short head in it between you two two top top guys for poster of the year. Good luck to both of you – you are both ambidextrous enthralling posters but who is in front I wouldn’t like to say !

p.s. although I finally managed to log in to the other site I was so much of a dumbo I couldn’t find how to open messages. Even if Robbo gets the email the battle may not be won if he just happens to be as dumb as me 😮

Leading from the front can be downright hazardous – it didn’t do Richard III much good at Bosworth in 1485 – but this seems a somewhat lesser risk so I have taken precipitate action!

    Your most umble stalker
most umbly and hopefully imperceptibly makes a
    very small correction to his
    Master’s Voice !

    HE’S GOT THE MESSAGE 😁 !

    My Paw was unable
    I mean umble
    to straighten
    his paw before him
    was umble too
    and so it went on
    in time immemorial.
    I come from terribly
    umble stock Sir
we have been and are steeped head to toe in umbleness,
    to a degree rarely seen.
    We were never
    learned in the art
    of annoying others.
    We only serve
    bent at both the waist
    and neck,in fact over
    the generations, the
double bend seen by a lot
    as a deformity was worn
    proudly by myself
    and my forefathers
and was and is to this day, exhibited as a signature
of service – so umble. We see ourselves as animals, namely dogs in the services of
    of the higher species man
    Not forgetting the birds.

For me, “got” suggests he’s seen the message – and I’ve no idea if he has – whereas “had” indicates he’s been sent the message, possibly a bit of the northerner in me affecting my choice of language.

Anyway, I’m starting to feel like best endeavours have been deployed!

    I do dare to split
    hairs with you Sir
    but all the while
    looking up as Paw
and his Paw before him did
    to their difficult masters.
    On the assumption that
    potato is indeed the
missing poster in disguised vegetable form – I assume his sudden appearance after your message was indeed sent ( or sent by the Gnatman – I don’t know which, but it is of little consequence ) is because he has indeed received the message as you rightly say ” had ”
I believe whoever sent the message or pm may check to see
    if the message was opened.
If that be the case and it is verified he opened it – your always umble servant may have a point, and one can say then he has “got” the message. Apart from the pm the fact he has signed in suggests he wishes his presence to be known and human nature, inquisitive as it is, tends to suggest he has read some or all of Gnatman or Dickie’s – your posts Sir ( if I may over familiarize ) and has got the message by that other, shall we call it the ‘nose’ route.
