February 24, 2009 at 01:52 #212005Do you want to know what it is Nathan?
February 24, 2009 at 03:07 #212020That’s fair enough Matron

I know what the system was David, I was just checking to see today’s results because I think Eddie was recording it down, but it had gone. can’t believe the strike rate 9/10

I’d paper trail the system myself but I’m too lazy and tight to buy the paper

February 24, 2009 at 14:34 #212052Eddie said the win strike-rate was 6/10 and the place strike-rate was 9/10. He also recommended using tote place odds as opposed to high-street each-way terms cos that gives better results
2 horses fitted the "system" that day (18-Feb-09), both at Ludlow:
2:25 Basebell Ted – 4th @ 11/8 (unplaced)
3:00 Gee Dee Nen – 1st @ 4/6 (win 1.70, place 1.10)Don’t fancy it myself
February 25, 2009 at 10:57 #212233Eddie Woods has now started to use the message service to leave notes informing me I should not make adverse comments about his fathers remarkable system.
Anyone else had any?
Eddie this is an open forum and I can write what I like as long as I keep within the rules.
So far I have.rgds,

Can you tell me what the system is please. cheers ArkleFebruary 26, 2009 at 03:31 #212367No problem but don’t go telling all your mates!
1. Buy a Daily Mirror
2. Check for horses picked by Spotform (they will have a black dot after their name)
3. Horse must have the figures 32 just before the black dot (I think that this is a rating figure or something)
4. Selection must also have been selected by both the tipsters in the Mirror (Newsboy & the other one)Any horse which fits these criteria is a bet.
Eddie Woods claims 60% win SR & 90% place SR – he could be right but I imagine that they go off very short.
February 26, 2009 at 04:12 #212373Davidbrady, cheer’s.
February 26, 2009 at 17:43 #212444This is similar to old Daily Mail system:-
"Daily Mail, select all horses that are rated 78 and where there is no horse running in the same race rated 77. This applies to Handicaps, Listed Races and Group Races, only. If a, horse rated above is "Odds-on" in the Daily Mail betting forecast then, there is no selection for the race.
Leave out the following races:- Amateur, Ladies and Apprentice.

February 26, 2009 at 23:34 #212504It looks like Eddie went down with his ship on Saturday and I think he was intending to keep a record of the results of the system so I thought I would keep it warm for him until he gets fished out of the ocean. I would of started it yesterday only made the mistake of sending my better half out for the paper and she returned with the sun.

you would need a 99% place strike rate at these odds to make a profit on placed bets alone.Charles Darwin to conquer the World
